Biography
I have been in the Healthcare Industry since 1997. I started my Healthcare journey working for BCBS as a claims adjuster in Tenncare when it had just started in Chattanooga.
I quickly realized that I could not handle that division of BCBS. It was then that Cigna was recruiting people from other insurance companies in the area and I jumped on the bus, literally.
I was once again a claims adjuster, but advanced very quickly and became a Quality Auditor. I moved from Chattanooga and as life took me from place to place, I worked in an Adult Day Care at a hospital
as an Administrator, then onto working for an Infusion Company as an Intake Coordinator. I moved back into insurance for a time and worked for Windsor Home Care Services. But, from there found my heart..
I started a job working at a Home Health Company as an Intake Coordinator. It was a wonderful step for me, after a few years, I was promoted to Marketing and Sales. It was the opportunity of a lifetime. I worked for that company 8 years. Then over the last several years, I have worked in SNF, Assisted Living and other Non-Medical Companies in Marketing and Sales.
The last 5 years I have been blessed beyond words to work for an incredible company. Stay Home Care, has not only become my "home" but has become my peace in my career. It is truly a dream job. I recently was promoted to Vice President of Operations and Marketing for Stay Home Care. My experience extends from Insurance, Home Health, SNF, Assisted Living and Home Care Services. I use my background to help people be advocates for themselves and their family members. When I am not working, I love to spend time, shopping, creating and working on my "Fabulously Frugal Fashionista" Social Media and most importantly spending time with my husband.
